Jack (played by Steven Seagal) was once a resourceful CIA agent. An accident led him and his friend Sundi (played by Byron Mann) to resign together. Sundi chose to become a monk after seeing through the mundane world, while Jack took on the heavy responsibility of raising his daughter Jessica (played by Sarah Malukul Lane) following his wife's death. Ten years have passed in the blink of an eye, and Jessica has grown into a graceful young woman. Jack has adapted to a comfortable and stable life, and the former turmoil seems like a blurred dream.
